CCB

I miss being able to go out. I miss doing sports. This CB has been the most unfit period of my life.

It has been such a very extremely thrilling(?!) journey the past 3 months, ever since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. Starting from my overseas medical elective to Miri, to getting locked down there because all my flights back got cancelled, to detouring, to finally coming back to Singapore to find a place to serve my SHN, to getting out of my SHN to the Singapore circuit breaker (CB), to the CB getting extended to become CCB, I have been staying at home so much. I have never ever stayed at home longer than this LOL.

In the future when I have more time I might write an in-depth post about my escape from Malaysia lockdown because that was quite frightening and exciting. However, M5 is starting on 8 June and I actually have so many things to do from now till then e.g. my research, so many web lectures, my embroidery hobby, playing pokemon, and maybe do some revision (yes I probably should). Not sure whether I'll be able to take some time out to write that post!! Let's see how it goes.

Anyway I've been watching Lee Min Ho's new drama - The King. AND IT HONESTLY SUCKS. Sorry guys I freaking love Lee Min Ho and I was super excited for his comeback drama after military but this just doesn't do him justice. It does not!! The plot is too messy, way too many new mysteries and ambiguity introduced before previous ones are solved/revealed, too slow paced, and the 'romantic' scenes are just too illogical or lame. You know some dramas get u excited when they introduce new details or information, thereby creating suspense/excitement?? Everything this drama introduces just creates frustration. Pure frustration. I've never felt this way about any drama before. I've never had to try so hard to continue watching a drama. The few things I've been enjoying in this drama are the really beautiful cinematography/filmography, Lee Min Ho being as dashing as always, and actually the interaction between Eunsup and Yeong - acted by the same person. Yup that's it. I posted all these thoughts on my story and surprisingly (or not), many people replied and said they feel the same way!! And they actually gave up and stopped watching the drama at certain episodes LOL.

Alright that's about it for today. Longest post I've written in quite a long time.
